Joanne Lacey (Owner)
On completing training at a 5* salon in Neath, Joanne decided to further her career in a 5* Mumbles salon to help give her a more creative career path. After being part of numerous shows and competitions around the UK, Joanne decided to combine her passion for hairdressing and travel and joined the cruise ships as a senior stylist.
Two years later, feeling homesick, Joanne returned to Swansea and continued her creative path back at the salon and became an established member of the art team. Through this Joanne has been part of and organised a variety of Swansea shows including Fashion Addict at the Brangwyn Hall and Swansea Maritime Museum. Joanne was later honoured enough to become part of ‘Project X’ - an elite team of hairdressers. Only 12 hairdressers were picked from all over the UK, they were then based in London for a year and received the highest level of training from all the hairdressing greats, such as Vidal Sassoon, Toni & Guy, Hob Salons, Wella Professional and many more.
In 2011 Joanne decided to fulfil her dream of bringing a 5* award winning hairdressing to her home village, Bryncoch. Madame Butterfly was opened by August and aims to bring cutting edge hairdressing to the local community. Joanne welcomes all clients old and new so call for a consultation today!
